Finance Director - City of San Pablo, California

The Finance Director will oversee a staff of 5 employees, including 1 Accounting Manager, 2 Accounting Technicians, and 2 Fiscal Clerk II’s. The ideal candidate will be versed in budget planning, financial policy determination, economic forecasting, financial reporting, audit compliance, and cash management.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with major coursework in accounting, finance, or business administration is required; Master’s preferred. Additional requirements include a minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in accounting and financial work including considerable administrative and supervisory experience.
Annual salary range of $178,908 - $217,464, DOQE and an outstanding benefit package including CalPERS 2.5% at 55 (Classic).
