The City of Albany is located within the San Francisco Bay Area in the northwest portion of Alameda County. Albany is bordered by Berkeley on the south and east, El Cerrito on the north, and Richmond on the northwest. Albany’s land area is 1 square mile, and with a population of 20,000 residents, it has a density of 10,368 persons per square mile, making Albany one of the highest-density cities in the Bay Area. Based on its land area and current population, Albany has the second highest population per square mile in the East Bay.

The salary range for this outstanding opportunity is $168,555 to $215,124.  Placement within this range is dependent upon qualifications.
