Operations Compliance Supervisor - Dublin San Ramon Services District, Dublin, California

DSRSD provides water, recycled water, and wastewater treatment services to over 186,000 people in the Tri-Valley. The District has 128 FTEs and an operating budget of $70.6 million. A ten-year capital improvement program encompasses 102 projects with a budget of $236 million. The District’s organizational culture is characterized by a productive, challenging, and fun work environment.  The projects and work are meaningful, and cross communication throughout the organization is gaining momentum, which is valuable in implementing key initiatives of the District.

This is a newly created, exempt, mid-management position reporting the District’s Operations Manager.  This position will oversee a staff of three employees and will facilitate a mindset within the District’s daily workflow of operations that focuses on accomplishment of key milestones while proactively addressing regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will bring proven project management experience, including significant interface with a variety of governmental regulatory agencies and program administration within a wastewater treatment operation, water services, or similar industry. 

A Bachelor’s degree majoring in business or public administration, environmental science, industrial or civil engineering, public health, or a closely related field; and five years of experience in regulatory compliance programs or public utility administration.  

The salary range is $160,752 to $195,396 annually; appointment DOQE.  In addition, the District offers an excellent benefit package including CalPERS retirement (2.7% @ 55 for Classic members, and 2% @ 62 for New Members), retiree medical vesting program, 457 Deferred Compensation plan, medical insurance through CalPERS, dental, vision, EAP, and District-paid life and disability insurance.
