The successful candidate as the City Planning Manager will be a strong leader, be politically savvy, and possess a strong background in Planning; have a passion for delivering high quality services, strengthening community connections and leading by example; knowledgeable of planning, zoning and permitting; and have a thorough understanding of State and local planning and zoning standards, the California Environmental Quality Act, the Subdivision Map Act, current techniques of urban planning and be familiar with coastal concerns.
The City is offering a competitive salary range of $157,819 to $188,598, depending upon the qualifications, education, and experience of the selected candidate.”
