The El Dorado Hills Community Services District serves the picturesque suburban community of El Dorado Hills, which is nestled at the base of the Sierra Nevada Foothills within El Dorado County and has a population of about 53,000. El Dorado Hills is located just 22 miles east of Sacramento and 79 miles west of beautiful South Lake Tahoe, and is near vibrant communities such as Folsom, Cameron Park, Shingle Springs, Placerville, and Diamond Springs. The El Dorado Hills Community Services District is seeking an Assistant General Manager to shape and enhance the quality of life in El Dorado Hills. This position will oversee the Planning, Recreation, and Parks Divisions, leading a team of dedicated managers and staff. Its leadership will be pivotal in driving the success of strategic plan goals, using the District’s Master Plan to spearhead innovative projects for parks, recreation, and open space programming and development. A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university with major coursework in business or public administration, finance, park and recreation administration/management, or a closely related field and four years of increasingly responsible administrative or professional experience in parks and recreation or community services programs of which two years should be in a management capacity is required.
The salary range for this position is $130,582 - $155,230, DOQE. The District also provides a competitive benefit package.
