The City of Hollister is nestled in San Benito County, 47 miles South of San Jose, along Highway 156 near the San Luis Reservoir. The City Manager seeks a strong leader who is eager to join his team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative and adaptability. This individual must have the ability to effectively communicate complex financial management and budget information in a clear and concise manner to staff, the City Council, and the community. Qualifying candidates will possess a strong knowledge of operations, services, and activities of a comprehensive municipal financial management program, principles, practices, and methods of government accounting, auditing, and financial administration, municipal debt administration, bank reconciliation investment management, contract management, and financial compliance reporting. A Candidate with a broad perspective and strong understanding of municipal operations is highly desirable. 

Under the administrative direction of the City Manager, the Administrative Services Director will oversee the Administrative Services Department functions, which includes Finance and Human Resources, coordinating assigned activities with other City departments and outside agencies, and providing highly responsible and complex administrative support to the City Manager.

The annual salary range is $162,000 to $182,000.  Placement within this range is dependent upon qualifications.
